What you’ll be doing...

You will be joining our Wholesale Billing support organization working on critical programs that drive the enterprise business. You will engage with several stakeholders from various departments within the business and IT and drive billing development for VPS products and required production support. You will engage with the project through the whole software development life cycle ensuring the solutions gets implemented and achieves the stated business benefit.

  • Analyze, design, code and implement all phases for Telecom Billing system – primarily WIN system.
  • Work closely with business, 3rd party vendors and IT partners to contribute to requirement gathering, data analysis, design documentation and interface agreements for infrastructure, security, product and performance enhancements.
  • Monitor, Meet and Improve all published SLAs.
  • Continually curate business, performance, security and reporting environments for system improvement.
  • Evaluating potential improvements, prototyping, validating, and put these strategies into production within the application architecture.
  • Recommending and modeling new technologies that will enable the strategic architecture to be delivered in a timely fashion.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with IT-driven System Development and support in distributed computing environment including: C/C++, Oracle and SQL Server Programming, Unix/Solaris/AIX/Linux, Korn Shell Scripting, Perl, Tandem OS and DB scripting, CORBA

Even better if you have:

  • Java/JDBS, Web Services/SOAP/XML/RPC, Actuate, SAP BO
  • PowerBuilder, Windows, Batch Programming, C#, .Net
  • Telecom experience with emphasis on: Pricing, Discounting, Taxing, Billing, A/R functionality.
  • Experience in Highly Diverse shared data and Inter-Architectural environments
  • Experience in Security, Business Continuity, and Performance planning and deployment
  • Hands-on experience in DevSecOps, OCI and Agile
  • Verbal and written communication skills with business users and stakeholders, IT partners and team members
  • Experience in technology, products and market of either Telecom, Wireless, Security services or Cloud business.
