What you’ll be doing...
SAP Basis/ Security Architect provides leadership and technical support for SAP systems in Verizon Supply Chain/ Finance LOB. Supply chain systems are mission critical systems which are used to manage inventory for all sales across consumer and business units communicating to multiple systems across enterprise and vendors. This senior level position establishes standards and requirements for enhancements and implements solutions driving business value. Orchestrate key proof of concept to assess the potential business value of new SAP technologies and leading migration efforts of SAP ERP into cloud.
The architect will provide advice on technical aspects of system development and integration and ensures that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices are applied correctly. Understand and advocate the Enterprise Architecture and information technology strategies. He/ she will analyze SAP and partner road maps along with market trends to determine their potential impact to current systems. Provide guidance on system builds/ support for SAP roll out.
