We are looking for a Lead Pega Developer to join the Verizon Sales and Services IT Team.

  • Responsible for critical decisions on what technology, solution approach we take for the Verizon Wireless Omni-channel Sales and Service platform enhancements and re-architecting initiatives.
  • Partner with business on regular basis to drive the usage of BPM/ Case Management/ DM to drive a consistent Omni-channel experience.
  • Provide E2E architecture for complex re-architecting projects.
  • Analyze the existing systems architecture and designing a new architecture that is cloud friendly, based upon micro-services and utilize open source stack where applicable.
  • Responsible for a holistic design that incorporates various factors like scaling, resiliency, CI/CD, monitoring, load balancing and other key aspects of micro-services architecture.

What we’re looking for...

You will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with PEGA BPM, CM, DM

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Technology, and/or other related field of study.
  • Enterprise architecture experience in the areas of Omni Channel ordering, Customer experience on JEE technology.
  • PEGA advanced certifications.
  • Knowledge of emerging trends and technology.
  • Ability to assess upcoming Technology.
  • Knowledge with standard industry framework (Spring) & agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of following areas: Cloud technologies & micro-services on the Java based stack.
  • Teamwork & collaboration skills to work across organizations and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Communication & stakeholder management skills. Problem solving skills.
