What you’ll be doing...

The Transformation Project Manager role will be an expert managing scrum for a project. You will be intensely involved in ensuring design, build and implementation of work product is delivered on time. You will define the problem and build solution consensus. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to statement of work development, training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope.

Also, the Lead Transformation Manager will lead IT outsourced managed services. This position is responsible for delivery commitments and resources worldwide to ensure successful service delivery, profitability for VZ is achieved, customer satisfaction is met, and global corporate policies are adhered to.


  • Act as senior, POC to the Customer for all project delivery matters.
  • Oversee all managed service related activities worldwide and across delivery organizations.
  • Regular and proactive customer communications to ensure all customer concerns are addressed readily.
  • Oversee transition and transformation planning, execution, reporting and related escalation management.
  • Oversee requirements, costs, deliverables and contract performance related to the project.
  • Define and manage project activities to meet corporate goals for financial performance.
  • Develop and manage deliverables to plan.
  • All processes are documented and efficiently working for the project.
  • Participate and oversee that all relevant governance meetings are held within contract framework.
  • Maintain and publish status for all projects in progress.
  • All reports are developed and distributed as required by the contract.
  • Ensure and oversee that customer billing is properly created and sent in a timely manner as applicable.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Seven or more years of experience as project manager and scrum master in IT.

Even better if you have:

  • Experience in project delivery through Agile, Scrum.
  • Experience aligning teams, holding grooming sessions, Sprint Planning and facilitate Sprint Retrospectives.
  • Measure project timelines.
  • Onsite offshore work model experience.
  • Ability to manage and negotiate with internal and external organizations.
  • Experience in multiple, complex technical projects.
  • Experience with IT Outsourcing.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and/or Scrum Master Certification(s)
  • Experience of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of demand and capacity management tools such as Clarity.
  • Critical thinking, organizational, research, oral and written communication skills.
  • Leadership skills & capabilities.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and the corresponding ability to quickly provide sound decisions and recommendations.
  • Ability to manage large budgets with financial acumen to forecast and capture actuals.
