What you’ll be doing...

You will support the growth and development of our most important asset—our people. By delivering in-person training you will be imparting critical skills and knowledge to help them become even better. You’ll be delivering learning solutions that are engaging, fun and most importantly build those capabilities needed to enable our people to create the future.

  • Delivering and evaluating knowledge, skills and behavior training of various technical skills including safety, technology, network operation centers, technician work practices, pole climbing, line construction, copper and fiber splicing.
  • Facilitating programs across our broad learning and training curriculum including network, technical, soft skills, leadership, and safety.
  • Resourcing learning initiatives with internal and external training experts.
  • Managing vendor and contractor relationships.
  • Evaluating or monitoring program effectiveness and continuously improving our solutions.
  • Working across Learning and Development functions to support design, delivery and project site builds.
  • Influencing others inside and outside department and function.
  • Facilitating technical programs to facilitators, incumbent employees and new hires.
  • Working collaboratively with Learning and Development’s design and development teams on course curriculum.
  • Building and delivering learning programs to increase engagement and retention while reducing lecture, and infusing more experiential and problem-solving learning skills to positively impact the business.
  • Leading all milestone SME and manager reviews.
  • Setting schedules, managing delivery sources, and communicating progress and issues.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll enjoy facilitating groups and helping others to learn and be successful. You’ll be a great listener and presenter with an ability to engage a diverse audience and bring learning content to life for employees with different learning styles.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time and willingness to work evenings and weekends.
  • Must meet safety-related requirements including but not limited to those standards of safety imposed by OSHA, state agencies, manufacturers and/or the Company.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Knowledge of various technical skills including safety, technology, network operation centers, technician work practices, pole climbing, line construction, copper and fiber splicing.
  • Knowledge of and experience with adult learning principals and training approaches.
  • Experience managing large and complex training programs and site logistics associated with large complex training programs, effectively balancing timeliness and quality.
  • Experience facilitating face to face and virtual learning sessions.
