  • Drive functional roadmap, feature prioritization, planning and program management for strategic supply chain initiatives to enable digital transformation, operational efficiency, new revenue growth and innovation in Verizon’s Supply Chain; supporting Consumer, Business and Network operations. Provide regular project updates to IT and business leaders including possible risks and remediation plans.
  • Work closely with business partners and product owners to evaluate criticality and benefits of new features, and will manage overall delivery expectation. Work with geographically distributed delivery teams, will assess delivery capacity and affordability, will assign user stores to agile sprints, and will manage releases to enable transformative changes in Supply Chain domain. Work as scrum master to translate user ask into detailed JIRA stories, to ensure impact assessments are realistic and will manage aggregate story points to overall sprint level affordability.
  • Work with Managed Services Vendor to allocate work, to track weekly/monthly deliverables, and assess time charging, vendor capacity spend. Drive efficiency and best practices in managing end to end delivery quality.
  • Manage project spends, capital/expense balance for specific global supply chain initiatives. Engage with vendors for statement of work and time & material resources if and when additional and temporary resources are required to handle spike in delivery

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge in Supply Chain, Point of Sales, and Telecommunication.
  • Experience in Agile Delivery, Web/Mobile Application development, and AWS/Cloud implementation.

Even better if you have:

  • Extensive work experience in managing vendors, their work allocation and delivery.
  • Agile and Scrum master certification and prior work experience as a scrum master.
  • Proven skillset in Clarity. Extensively worked on project lifecycle management, resource management using Clarity.
  • Hands-on work experience in DevOps Automation, Agile and DevOps tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Confluence, Junit, Fortify.
  • Well acquainted with Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies such as EC2, RDS, S3, ELB, Autoscale, Cloudwatch, Lambda etc.
  • Hands on work experience in Unix/Linux, Java/J2EE/JSP, Apache/Tomcat, Microservices, RDBMS/Oracle, REST web services.
  • Good understanding of Security best practices, OWASP vulnerabilities.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and tracking against the capital plans.
