What you’ll be doing...
The Manager of Product Management/Development (Home Broadband Services) will report into the Director of Product Management/Development (Home Broadband & Value-add Services) and will provide life cycle management support for all Consumer Home Broadband Services.Responsibilities will include interacting with business unit leaders and functional leaders at the highest levels within the organization to develop, implement and execute on a wide variety of strategic products aimed at achieving the strategic and financial objectives of the business and preparing the business for future.
The Manager will be responsible for vetting strategies, assessing market needs, defining market segmentation, validating technical solutions, and creating business models.The Manager will interact with a large number of critical internal and external partners including but not limited to: Operations, Marketing, Branding, Finance, Legal, Consultants, Marketing Firms, Corporate Strategy, GTM groups and Network Planning.The candidate will have experience working with, or in, product development, product pricing, and product marketing.
The Manager will be a subject matter expert in the competitive landscape, market trends and research (both primary and secondary) and will be responsible for developing and clearly articulating an overarching strategy and describing how individual project roadmaps support a larger vision.Responsibility will include including creation and maintenance of an executive dashboard to reflect product/project performance.
The Manager will primarily support the initiative product scope, strategy and the execution of the recommendations. In this process, they will assist in leading the execution teams drawn from the business and functional units.
What we’re looking for...
Responsible to map the customer needs journey and identify what product concepts are economically viable and align with Verizon’s larger strategic direction. Responsible for representing the continuum from needs identification, product conceptualization, business modelling, product launch, to product support. Must consult with the business unit to recommend the most efficient product distribution strategy, identifying key channels, training requirements, and support needs. Responsibility also includes the tracking and monitoring of key product metrics and to gain alignment with BU for quick and agile process modifications to optimize sales and billed line in service performance.
