What you’ll be doing...

With your analytical, big data and reporting expertise, you will deliver business value through business intelligence reporting and analytics by driving insights to actions. One way you will accomplish this is by developing analytical views of data utilizing various BI tools such as Tableau, SQL, SAS, and R. You’ll also connect various data locations to stage data before visualizations. The business insights and recommendations you provide will help to improve performance.

  • Segmentation analysis that leads to targeted marketing strategies.
  • Strategizing, overseeing, documenting, resource planning and defining scope on multiple projects with evolving timelines in various stages of completing.
  • Daily ad-hoc analysis that requires fast paced thinking, ETL design, analysis, and presentation.
  • Leading collaboration with business leads and IT to execute all visual design stages from concept and requirements to final hand-off to business unit end-users.
  • Reviewing existing visualizations to assess existing opportunities for improvement within the business and to drive a best-in-class User Interface solution.
  • Typical analysis includes: Cost/Benefit, Trending/Forecasting, Optimization Modeling, etc.

What we’re looking for...

You are good with numbers and you love to dig into data to find the story. Designing reports and dashboards is a fun afternoon for you. You’re able to translate numbers into compelling stories---and tailor your presentation and recommendations to the audience function and level to meet their needs. You are detail-oriented and know how to focus on what really matters. You have a knack for understanding and visualizing just the right way to share data and practical insights so that people can understand. You enjoy aligning various work streams to ensure the same vision and goal is achieved.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience applying statistics to problem solving or optimization.
  • Experience leading several projects from beginning to end.
  • Experience working autonomously.

Even better if you have:

  • A Master’s degree.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, information systems, analytics/business intelligence, engineering, mathematics, statistics, other related discipline.
  • Leadership and strategic planning experience.
  • Experience investigating and solving complex technical problems and data discrepancies.
  • Call Center and Digital experience.
  • Program management experience.
  • Ability to develop solutions that align tactical solutions with strategic goals.
  • Ability to lead and facilitate cross functional teams of managers and directors to gain consensus and execute to deliver results.
  • Ability to define the future state, as well as identifying the steps to get there.
  • Proven experience in process and requirements documentation.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint or Google Slides for storytelling.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
