What you’ll be doing...

As an IOF Planner you will be responsible to design, build and manage all Inter-Office Facilities (IOF) capacity within an assigned HUB area. The IOF planner is responsible for the capacity management of all transport systems within all assigned CO’s to include multiplexers, digital cross-connects (DCS), coax spans, copper spans, intra-building fiber cables and IOF fibers. Ability to grasp highly technical equipment and turn that knowledge into action is a must for the job applicants. The IOF planner must take the IOF LATA planner’s plan and input from the various provisioning systems to create capacity to carry all service requirements between assigned CO’s and IXC POP’s. The IOF planner must use these inputs to issue jobs in the CCP system and build TIRKS Circuit Layout Orders to create and maintain the path to meet the service requirements.
