Job Description:

The VLS Agile Program Manager is responsible for VLS portfolio level planning, reporting, resourcing and coordination.

The VLS Agile Program Manager responsibilities include:

  • Lead project portfolio events including: cross team planning, retrospectives and synchronization sessions.
  • Partner with product to develop an executable, prioritized and approved portfolio backlog/roadmap.
  • Deliver transparency to the project portfolio through project and resource reporting.
  • Monitor the cross functional team work assignments, ensuring teams have an optimized workload.
  • Assist the teams in delivering solution-level value by guiding the work of all teams and stakeholders across the portfolio.
  • Assist with economic decision-making by facilitating level of effort, cost estimations and financial tracking.
  • Manage portfolio level risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Two or more years of program management work experience.
  • Experience within an Agile environment
  • Ability to manage and execute competing tasks and multiple projects simultaneously.

Even better if you have:

  • Masters/MBA
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certification.
  • Experience with Google and Atlassian suite.
  • Analytical, planning and organizational ability.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Champions and influences the use of established processes, methodologies & tools.
