What you’ll be doing...

The Marketing Manager, Segment Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing end-to-end strategies for acquiring and supporting unbanked and underbanked customers. They will manage the development of marketing strategies based on the needs of the segment as a whole, and will identify micro-segments within this underserved segment. The role will require successful cross-coordination across various teams, including Marketing Communications, Operations, Finance, IT, Risk and more. The objective is to improve segment penetration, improve revenue growth and deliver improved lifetime value. The ideal candidate is a business marketing leader that can drive overall marketing strategy and has strong business acumen for pricing and financial modeling to grow profitable segment share, and should have a track record as an accomplished strategist with a focus on new service/experience creation. The Director will be a thought leader on segmentation approaches, but will also work cooperatively across the business to implement programs that maximize value of the segments.

What we’re looking for...

You are curious about what people need and want. You enjoy digging through data for insight into opportunities for how we can help our consumers work, play and connect in new and better ways.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience working with marketing research, research strategy, or consumer research methodologies.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree or Master’s degree in Marketing, Market Research – more impressive if you have an MBA.
  • Digital experience and knowledge of trends and key business drivers.
  • Ability to present findings and insights targeted to what that audience cares about (up to the executive level).
  • Ability to analyze what’s important from a variety of sources to provide a holistic view of the marketplace, competitive factors, risks, and opportunities.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Designed custom research approaches to gain broader or deeper consumer and market insights.
  • Translated market knowledge and strategy into compelling stories and tools for the sales team.
