What you’ll be doing...
Network Implementation & Maintenance Engineer (DCIM)
In this role, you will ensure the availability, stability and integrity of in-service network equipment in a zero-fault tolerant environment. You will be responsible for implementation, de-installation and Layer 1 configuration changes of network equipment and associated cabling connections. Coordination with other department and groups for the graceful shutdown of network elements, data communications and peripheral equipment while maintaining network integrity and quality of all systems still active supporting customer traffic. Additionally, you will support implementation and changes to physical network infrastructure. Restore the Data Center environment back to pre-installation condition by removal of associated network infrastructure cabling, and coordinating deactivation of transmission facilities. Network equipment includes Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, F5 and A10, Dell, HP routers, ALU, Ericsson multilayer switches, load balancers, firewalls.
