What you’ll be doing...

Work collaboratively in a team environment to support the Employee Payroll Support (EPS), Team. Assist Payroll Administrators with questions and employee escalations via incoming calls and emails.

  • Drive call and email results to meet assigned key performing indicators and SLAs.
  • Assist Payroll Administrators with questions and employee escalations via incoming calls and emails.
  • Review Payroll Administrators updates in the employee call details case database to ensure accuracy.
  • Update payroll related methods and procedures in VZ Knowledge, job aids and FAQ’s.
  • Complete call and email quality reviews and lead quality calibrations.
  • Hold employee training/informational huddles.
  • Assist with schedule forecasting, vacation bids, and general scheduling functions.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • One or more year’s experience in Employee Service/ Payroll Operations.
  • Leadership experience leading a team.
  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Strong employee service skills.
  • Ability to multi task, support day to day activities while managing team inquiries.
  • Strong quantitative, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Results oriented, strong sense of urgency, proactive.
  • Team oriented individual who interacts and supports team members, team building.
  • Flexible scheduling to meet processing demands.
  • Ability to manage large work volumes, show flexibility, adapt easily to change.
  • Ability to interact with peers in Payroll, HR, Benefits, and Benefit vendors to resolve employee questions/ issues.
  • Finance Operations such as Payroll experience.
