What you’ll be doing...

Join our Application Security Team as a Senior Manager where you manage a multi-function single sign-on development team. You will be responsible for supervising onshore direct reports and leading developers including offshore team for all aspects of architecture, development and implementation of strategic single sign-on identity services.

You will partner with Business Marketing and Operation organizations defining Verizon Wireless customer user experience and business objectives, partner with Security, Legal, Risk and Compliance organizations on security, FCC, NIST standards and privacy requirements, and align and coordinate all aspects of single sign-on development and development support activities.

Supervising the team will include planning and prioritizing work setting; aligning team goals; training, coaching & counseling managers and employees; managing employee performance including setting objectives, assessing performance, and providing mid and year end evaluation and recommendations for growth and pay increases.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in supervisory and/or management role.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Experience with Single Sign-on and IDM technologies and solutions.
  • Experience with enterprise IDM application architecture, development and solution implementations.
  • Knowledge of NIST identity standards and OWASP security standards.
  • Knowledge of FCC and internal regulations and policies.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and internal privacy regulations and policies.
  • Knowledge of cloud based architecture and solutions.
  • Technical experience including Java/J2EE, Spring, Tiles, Spring Boot, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Oracle/RDBMS, Weblogic, SOAP and RESTful services, GIT, Jenkins, Maven, Design Patterns, Confluence, Jira, Web Security (OWASP), ReactJs, Akka.
  • Experience in SAML, OAuth, ForgeRock OpenAM, ForgeRock OpenIG, Hibernate, Angular, Microservices, Splunk, Kafka, AWS Cloud, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Beats and Logstash is a plus.
  • Experience of working on secure coding practices.
  • Ability to liaison with all the stakeholders, interact with business clients, application testing, infrastructure and release management team.
  • Ability to create scorecards, metrics, and reporting capabilities, and provide metric and results to IT and business leadership.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; can present concisely and effectively to critical audiences including director and executives.
  • Strong organization skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple, often conflicting priorities to successful completion.
  • Experience making independent decisions based on policies, practices and project requirements.
