The new Tribeca space brings together some of the industry’s sharpest minds across a multitude of disciplines, creating an integrated team that isresponsive and innovative across every Verizon touch point.

We’re looking for a motivated and organized individual to join our growing in house agency as our Creative Resources Manager. This role is an integral part of the agency that ensures the Creative Department runs smoothly and efficiently and that our Creative Directors are well-prepared to be successful with all clients. The ideal candidate will liaise with all departments so that our Creative Directors can focus on producing the best work possible with the best talent available to them.

This is a hybrid role which is in part Project Manager and Creative Resources Manager.Responsibilities include:

  • Work with PMs to understand project needs and allocate appropriate resources based on bandwidth and skills.

  • Monitor weekly allocations, reallocating resources and priorities based on changing requirements.

  • Recruit and evaluate freelance resources for peak periods.

  • Work closely with the creative directors to understand team member individualstrengths, weakness, and development goals and help staff teams appropriately.

  • Manage the team's bandwidth, evaluating timesheets, utilization reports and projected needs. Provide solutions when bandwidth exceeds reasonable expectations.

  • Coordinate with recruiting on potential new hires, coordinating communication, scheduling, feedback mechanisms and next steps.

  • Organize and prepare materials for award show submissions and other PR purposes.

  • Liaise with all departments (Ops, HR, IT, etc.) to ensure all Creative Department FTE, contractors, and freelancers’ hardware, software, and tech needs are met.

  • Assist members of the Creative Department to resolve all IT, HR, & Ops issues in a timely manner.

  • Manage and monitor PTO for the creative department while keeping workload in mind.

  • Coordinate internal reviews of creative work & performance reviews for all Creative Department members to ensure deadlines are met.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Two or more years of Advertising Agency experience in a Creative Manager role.
  • Ability to multitask by managing various strong personalities and multiple projects at once to meet all deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that can at times manage challenging situations by being a problem solver.
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills.
