What you’ll be doing...

As a Senior Manager you are responsible to manage Tier 2 End-User Support for Verizon’s Ordering Business Support Systems (BSS) for Large Enterprise, Wholesale and Medium Business customers. You are also an application manager for Export Compliance for Verizon’s Quoting and Ordering applications.

You will lead a team of software development and project management professionals providing Tier 2 Production Support for Verizon’s Sales organization You will be responsible for the successful delivery of strategic projects and will build collaborative relationships with Global Technology Solutions peers, leaders, and Business Operation and Product teams to ensure parties are focused on value-delivery.

  • Enterprise sales support at all levels of the company
  • Troubleshooting opportunities and deals for large network Request For Proposals (RFPs)
  • Pulling together cross-functional teams for end of month sales goals
  • Translating issues into root cause user stories for development of quoting, pricing and contracting fixes and enhancements
  • Additionally, the role will be responsible for managing the export compliance system to ensure compliance with export and regulatory laws and export licenses filing with the U.S. trade administration.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of Telecom industry products and solutions
  • Program Management Background
  • Experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server and JIRA
  • Experience withCustomer Relationship Management, Quoting, Ordering Applications
  • Proficiency in GSuite (Google Slides, Docs, etc) or M.S. Office suite (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Even better if you have:

  • A degree in computer science or computer engineering.
  • Experience managing a globally distributed team
  • Experience with database queries (Oracle, SQL Server)
  • Prior experience with sales tools including Salesforce.com
  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, RUP, other).
  • Detailed knowledge of Security, Sharing, Profiles, and Roles
  • Experience in JS Frameworks like – ExtJs, React or Angular
  • Excellentinterpersonal, oral and written communications and presentation skills
  • Analytical skills toisolate root cause problems and recommend solutions
