What you’ll be doing...

You will be responsible for all aspects of the Company’s Affirmative Action Program including, but not limited to, plan development, conducting periodic internal-audits, and managing OFCCP audits. Furthermore, you will play a vital role in leading projects including development, communications, and implementation; some of which may involve participating on cross functional teams and/or collaborating with vendors. You should have 1) strong analytical and data interpretation skills; 2) the ability to understand and communicate analyses; 3) knowledge of EEO and AA laws, regulations, and initiatives; 4) strong communication skills to develop documents and present information; 5) proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint and 6) experience creating report templates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and assist with AAP implementation in accordance with government regulations which includes:

    • Drafting/revising plan narratives;

    • Extracting and analyzing personnel data from different HR systems;

    • Conducting job group, utilization, impact ratio, and other analyses required to determine the action oriented programs;

    • Assisting in coordinating Company action-oriented programs;

    • Auditing outreach partnerships evaluations; and

    • Conducting internal audits of the Company AAPs.

  • Manage compliance evaluations conducted by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) in a timely manner and work with counsel, as needed.

  • Manage or support all aspects of projects from start to finish including, assessing information and needs to specify requirements, translate requirements into solutions, create documentation, and communicate and present to leadership.

  • Escalate issues when project timeline or scope are at risk and prepare recommendations to address them.

  • Coordinate internal resources and vendors to enable the execution of multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Assist in generating EEO1, Vets 4212, FCC 395, and other required reports.

  • Team up internally and across other departments to analyze large data sets to provide meaningful analysis and recommendations for process improvements and business solutions to support EEO/AA/HR Compliance.

  • Engage in professional development, including, for example, reviewing EEO/AA law-related newsletters or participating in webinars, trade group meetings, or other continuing education opportunities.

  • May be required to travel Domestic U.S.

  • Handle multiple deadline driven priorities across different projects.

You ask good questions to understand what the business needs and how to respond with the solutions. You think like a consultant, are highly analytical, and process and detail-oriented. You can communicate effectively with internal partners and government agencies.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Four or more years of experience with Affirmative Action Plan development and OFCCP audits.

  • Experience with Project Management and Human Resources processes.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.

  • Consulting skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.

  • Demonstrated influence skills via relationships, information, and data.

  • Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel (including vlookup and pivot tables).

  • The ability to quickly establish and maintain rapport with people of diverse backgrounds and professional levels.

  • Familiarity using VZCareers (PeopleSoft) and Cognos Reporting.

  • Experience in recruiting or HR generalist/business partner function.

  • PM certification.
