What you’ll be doing...

You will be joining and leading our Migration Factory support organization working on critical programs that drive the enterprise business. You will engage with several stakeholders from various departments within the business and IT and drive migrating customers off of legacy platforms to investment platforms. These include ordering, provisioning and billing platforms. There are 3 streams of active migrations including Commercial, GSAM (Government) and XO Communications. You will engage with the project through the whole software development life cycle ensuring the solutions gets implemented and achieves the stated business benefit.

Administration - handle regular administration tasks such as:

  • Weekly time reporting, annual vacation allocations and scheduling.
  • Annual employee development plans and personal growth opportunities.
  • Annual employee performance documents and compliance training.
  • Manage vendor Statement of Work agreements and deliverables, including vendor resources.

Application Compliance and Security

  • Work with application compliance officer and application system administrator to ensure application hardware and software compliance and security scans are completed.
  • Provide approvals for user access request to application and quarterly access review.

Application Team Management – provide direction for team

  • Identify problematic areas and then develop, implement, review and revise internal application processes and procedures and implement solutions as necessary .
  • Maintains organization's effectiveness quality service by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Ensure regular communication across teams and programs by facilitating daily status calls and weekly status reporting.
  • Ensure regular communication and project status with senior leadership.
  • Work with Project Manager and IT team to produce detailed timelines and implement effective project control.

Business User Engagement

  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
  • Analyze business needs presented by users and recommend technical solutions with completion timeline.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience working as an Information Technology manager leading and manage large technical IT team, including onshore and offshore and employee and vendor resources
  • Experience working within Telecom domain.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Even better if you have:

  • BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or similar field
  • Experience with Informatica or any other ETL Tools with large volumes of data.
  • Experience in software development.
  • Strong organization and administration skills, with ability to focus on both big-picture view as well as technical details.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications.
  • Strong knowledge about the industry’s best practices, information analysis, and data management.
