What you’ll be doing...

As a Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics Consultant within the Value Based Marketing (VBM) team, you will be focused on the data management and delivery around analytics and decision-making in support of delivering personalized AI/ML source and computed data in support of Next Best Offer/Next Best Action (NBO/NBA) services.

You will support Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics and Data Science organization with Data Management & Enablement tasks. These include:

  • Writing queries to fetch data, summarize and combine data sources.
  • Validating data sources.
  • Automating data pulls, work with IT to create production support processes.
  • Creating model training data sets.
  • Propagating and automating recurring data set in the BI/Middle layer of the data warehouse.
  • Performing cross-validation to test the accuracy and efficiency of the data and models.

You will manage Data Science processing and computing platforms including:

  • Maintaining software on server environments.
  • Training data scientists on platform features and capabilities.
  • Defining standards for platform usage and efficiency.

You will define and maintain production standards and efficiency for model scoring and assessment. You will work with IT and others to apply these models within the Pega recommendation system or via lead list targeting. You will ensure the proper processing, storage, transparency, and availability of NBO/NBA customer data and actions taken against it.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with Data Management/Data Warehousing, including developing data and leveraging software tools for data movement/management (e.g. Teradata utilities, SQOOP, Oozie, Unix shell scripting, scheduling software such as ESPX or Beeline).
  • Experience with SQL, particularly in Teradata.
  • Knowledge with scripting languages and software – Unix shell, SAS, R, Python.
  • Knowledge of Statistical concepts and Machine learning algorithms.
  • Training, exposure and experience with technical and conceptual foundations of data science.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Even better if you have:

  • A Master’s degree.
  • Familiarity with Consumer Markets wireless data.
  • Pega experience and or certification.
