What you’ll be doing...

You will help drive operational excellence across our network organization by ensuring that the appropriate network parts are in the right place at the right time. Leveraging analytics to optimize processes and procedures will create additional value for our company – and you will lead these efforts. You will manage multiple projects related to the health and maintenance of the Verizon network, establish and modify processes, and implement operating and governance frameworks to make our business better.

  • Collaborating with regional teams to understand their deployment and current processes.
  • Working with the network management centers (NMCs) to improve their current process and add value for them.
  • Supporting and/or leading current network projects such as WAT (Wireless Asset Transfer) work, Robocalling Prevention, and E911 ALI Database improvements.
  • Supporting future strategic network maintenance projects.
  • Coordinating learning, development, training, and support for our NMCs and across the wider organization.
  • Performing data analytics to identify trends and link back to process and system root causes.
  • Leading business case development using benchmarking data to validate best practices.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Statistical software experience.
  • Experience with IT systems.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Knowledge of systems used by the NMCs (vEPAIR, KAFTA, SANE, etc).
  • Project Management experience.
  • Knowledge of E911 and systems which support Public Safety.
  • Experience with large scale IT systems.
