What you’ll be doing...

  • Fully comprehend the short term project milestones, the Plan of Record, and the long term plan for 4G, 5G and CP&G. Utilize that knowledge to order equipment in a "just in time" approach while ensuring regional goals are achieved while minimizing equipment aging.
  • Provide our HQ and OEM with the 5G and 4G equipment forecast to aligns with the regional requirements.
  • Be the 5G equipment expert in the region. Ensure OEM quotes do not include unnecessary equipment. Work with construction and minor material vendors to develop kits for standardized designs in order to reduce deployment time. Create database of design types and kits. Understand and be able to communicate the DWDM/Transport component of the 5G design.
  • Be responsible for 4G, 5G and CP&G equipment ordering and tracking for their assigned geography.
  • Be responsible for adhering to Control Tower procurement requirements and processes.
  • Use FUZE database output to streamline ordering as well as look for changes to RF designs.
  • Work closely with construction to improve 4G/5G designs in terms of cabinets/towers/other equipment to standardize and streamline both ordering and construction.
  • Ensure that the 4G,5G and CP&G Plan of Record and 5G Double the Fun is completed by year-end.
  • Work closely with construction, project management and general contractors to ensure goals are met and will proactively reach out to parties to obtain the information required to get solutions on air.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with Excel, Sitetracker, CATS, ENM, RAVS, and Fuze.
  • Experience with Ericsson RAN and DWDM equipment (2212/6630/8843/Etc.).
  • Nokia transport experience with knowledge of the Nokia DWDM and router products.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree in finance or engineering.
  • Understanding of the different DAS platforms/OEMs and how to best deploy (I.e. Spider Cloud/DRAN).
  • DAS and In-building expertise.
  • Four or more years of equipment engineering experience with a proven ability to handle the completion of a large volume of projects.
  • Experience with RF, Transport, HVAC, power and grounding equipment engineering
  • Ability to review and analyze RF design and ability to confirm the equipment viability of the design
  • A decision maker with the ability to drive results.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to develop relationships with everyone from general contractors, warehouse personnel, construction engineers, peer team, management and executives.
  • Ability to be a self-starter, a quick learner and be adaptive to constant change.
