What you’ll be doing...

You will be working out of the Pittston MSC, and supporting both Pittston and Harrisburg network teams (Field Engineers, System Performance, Equipment, Transport and Interconnect, and Implementation) on repair and growth of the embedded network infrastructure, new builds, site build and integrations, 5G deployment, and other network initiatives.

  • Perform maintenance of the MSC and core elements.
  • Perform Software upgrades to both field and MSC elements as required.
  • Have On-Call responsibilities for both Pittston and Harrisburg MSC's.
  • Perform night shift / Maintenance window activities.
  • Weekends and holidays may also require work and participation in times of emergencies, disasters, or large planned non-standard events.
  • Travel outside the region in support of these is also a possibility.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have;

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Three or more years of work experience in telecommunications, engineering, or other technical area.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree
  • Proficiency in software application utilization (Tableau, Windows, Linux, Unix, etc.). CCNI/CCNA/CCNP beneficial.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Nortel - E///, Motorola, Nokia/ALU, Samsung background.
