What you’ll be doing...

You’ll be part of the Risk Management & Compliance team responsible for the administration of Verizon’s Enterprise wide Risk Management program overseeing policies, processes, people and systems and partnering with business leaders to identify and mitigate financial, operational, legal, regulatory and reputational risks. You will take on a key role in architecting and maintaining the RSA Archer tool used to manage all aspects of risk inherent in the department or function from which the business will make decisions concerning the scope of work to be performed based on those risks. Your work will help improve our processes and come up with innovative ways to support the team. Come help us keep our team running better every day.

  • Managing the collection of business requirements, design, development, and maintenance of RSA Archer platform for SOX 404 and Risk Management & Compliance.
  • Support and guide RSA Archer setup discussions with technical and non-technical groups
  • Prepare and deliver presentations communicating design proposals and project timelines to all levels of management
  • Developing effective analysis of large data sets using data visualization to assist the business in assessing risk and driving mitigation strategies.
  • Designing ad hoc reporting to enhance existing information and further investigations.
  • Assessing current and potential risks based on the potential financial, legal and reputation impacts to the company.
  • Developing and implementing prioritized work plans based on the risk assessment and business partner feedback.
  • Execute in high demanding, fast paced environments with tight deadlines
  • Provide leadership in training and mentoring other team members
  • Develop, deliver and maintain reporting strategy

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Math, or Information Systems or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in operational Compliance, business controls or Finance.
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley Section 404.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience and understanding of RSAArcher.

Even better if you have:

  • A Master's degree in Business Administration.
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • RSA Archer Administrator Level 1 and Level 2 Certification.
  • A Professional certification (CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE).
  • Experience using data analytic tools (i.e. Tableau, Qlik).
  • Experience with SQL databases.
  • Experience with JavaScript.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical matters to a non-technical audience
  • Experience driving complex solutions and analytics to provide ongoing and automated monitoring of key risks.
  • Experience formulating, interpreting and implementing policies and processes.
  • Experience leveraging auditing principles and methods.
  • Telecommunications experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analytics and presentation.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
