What you’ll be doing...

This position is responsible for managing and driving the design, configuration and implementation of an integrated Governance, Risk and Compliance solution within Verizon in support and adherence to corporate enterprise-wide compliance initiatives. This position is responsible for aligning to the strategic direction set by management and partnering with all teams to ensure the solution meets business needs, adheres to enterprise standards and meets necessary security requirements. This position will be responsible for managing the team and be required to be hands-on and provide any necessary development expertise or production support for the team as needed.

  • Understand and follow standard production procedures, be familiar with the waterfall and agile methodologies and be able to communicate with the business and IT to ensure the systems supports the business’ metadata management needs.
  • Manage Production Support team to ensure Production processes are effectively managed, supported, maintained and documented.
  • Manage Project Management and Development resources for build, user testing and deployment of new solutions for new and existing customers; includes staff augmentation through T&M resources as needed; must also be able to work with off-shore and/or on-shore technical resources to support development activities.
  • Define the architecture and design elements for Archer solution implementation (including design data/object models, technical workflow diagrams, access control models, etc.) using SDLC concepts and agile methodology.
  • Provide technical expertise for the development of the Archer platform and related technologies in line with current requirements.
  • Direct the creation and maintenance of design specification documents to support solution build-out and ongoing maintenance.
  • Identify and promote opportunities to standardize, reuse, and optimize Archer applications, processes and data.
  • Support Verizon Governance, Risk & Compliance (vGRC) team in providing technical administration of the Archer v6.3 platform including release management, configuration, upgrade validation/testing, change control, and issue/problem resolution.
  • Partner with IT to ensure vGRC application is in line with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) standards and best practices and internal Verizon standards for IT application development and support and work with service management and infrastructure teams as needed on technology upgrades, maintenance, and issue resolution.
  • Lead special projects and support other vGRC initiatives to drive risk excellence goals and objectives.
  • Work with Production Manager to support routine production launches, Change Request and/or system update requirements scoping and development.
  • Provide training and user support for projects as necessary.
  • Provide coaching to junior resources as needed.
  • Plan and implement continuous improvement of the solution.
  • Expected to complete tasks independently and make decisions and recommendations that comply with management reporting guidelines to accurately ensure the financial integrity of our financial statements.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Management experience with Archer platform.
  • Designed new Archer solutions at an Enterprise level.
  • Experience in RSA Archer development and administration experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Expert knowledge of core Archer applications, architecting solutions using core applications, Advanced Workflow & data feed / API / data exchange configuration.
  • Testing experience to ensure new solution development integrates with existing solutions.
  • Hands-on experience using Archer version 6.
  • Experience with coaching and developing technical team members.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong writing and documentation skills.
  • Ability to network with others to accomplish daily tasks.
  • Ability to be highly motivated, a self-starter, and demonstrate leadership qualities.
  • Working knowledge of Agile software development.
  • Archer certification (version 6).
  • Experience with Advanced Workflow Implementation.
  • Experience with Tableau Integration.
  • Working knowledge of Archer Application Programming Interface (API) for system optimization.
  • RSA Archer certified Administrator/Developer.
  • Experience in the configuration of data driven events, calculations, data feeds, data imports, and integrations with applications internal and external to Archer.
  • Ability to be detailed oriented.
