What you’ll be doing...

As a Manager in the National Distribution organization you will be responsible for managing key strategic initiatives, finance, and budget duties (weekly/monthly), and the completion of daily operational tasks for our Agent and National Retail partners. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Improve customer experience by evaluating, improving, and simplifying processes of both Verizon and Agent partner to increase both sales and profitability.
  • Drive all ZBB Initiatives for Indirect Channel:
    • Lead Deployment of Initiatives and facilitate hand-off.
    • Curate content into executive summaries for leadership review.
    • Maintain trending/analysis of performance of all initiatives.
    • Contribute to stakeholder meetings and provide initiative updates/feedback.
    • Maintain stakeholder relationships.
    • Generate business case for new initiatives.
    • Align key stakeholders to initiative value.
    • Lead Ideation of potential initiatives for savings.
  • Assess ZBB targets against prior year budget performance and provide feedback.
  • Lead deployment of Salesforce and facilitate hand off to execution team.
  • Partner with Telesales, Digital Sales, and other partner organizations that share VP budget.
  • Create, leverage, and analyze sales reporting to understand results and develop effective initiatves from these insights; prepare business cases and ROI analyses for all initiatives.
  • Support, coordinate, and lead Market sales teams; listen to field challenges/successes and implement national and local programs accordingly.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with internal and external cross-functional teams, including CARE, CORe, SMB, Prepaid, Finance, Commissions, Marketing, Operations, and IT.
  • Ability to effectively present results and initiatives to management and partners for approval and implementation.
  • Frequently interact with partner and act as a point of contact for all internal and external needs relative to the business.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Project management experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree in BA/BS Marketing or Business Administration or relevant field.
  • Results-driven individual with passion and motivation for success.
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills with the ability to write and execute queries with Teradata SQL Assistant (preferred).
  • Strong problem solver with exceptional organizational and people management proficiencies.
  • Strong project management, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft 9.1, Ariba, Advertising Budget System (ABS) and CPS 103 policy (Authority to approve Transactions).
  • Ability to manage and lead multiple projects.
  • Strong in developing and delivering presentations to senior leadership.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and transformational projects.
