What you’ll be doing...

We are looking for a Market Research Insights Manager to manage and facilitate all aspects of the In-House Research function within our Consumer & Marketplace Insights team. You will be responsible for all aspects of the market research process including questionnaire design, programing the survey, tabulating results and providing actionable consumer insights across all lines of businesses. On a day-to-day basis, you will work closely with the product, campaign, NPS and Brand Health tracking teams within CMI.

This role requires a self-starter with demonstrated success in full service market research.

  • Identify research needs and design analytic plans against business objectives, timelines and budget.
  • Solid foundation in primary quantitative research, i.e., questionnaire development, navigating survey programming logic, reading and developing cross-tabulations, etc.
  • Experience with various methodologies including regression, conjoint, max diff, turf analyses.
  • Capable of big data analyses, creative storytelling, data visualization and presentation development; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Partner, consult and collaborate with CMI partners and Line of Business leaders to identify and address key business issues and provide actionable consumer insights that drive Verizon's competitive advantage.
  • Project management skills- ability to prioritize among multiple brands and projects
  • Synthesize data from multiple sources and translate findings into actionable consumer insights and recommendations.
  • Ability to work individually and in a team setting
  • Enthusiastic, eager and a positive attitude.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel upto approximately 25% of the time.
  • Experience in questionnaire design & programing surveys in Qualtrics
  • Experience pulling, manipulating and tabulating data.
  • Experience with PowerPoint, Excel and SPSS.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Knowledge of marketing departments, teamwork in a cross-functional and/or matrix organization and/or national/regional structure.
  • A mix of research vendor/ agency and client side experience.
  • Knwledge with Verizon business units and marketing organizations.
  • Experience with text mining software including Clarabridge.

This position can be located in other valid Verizon locations or work remotely within a reasonable commute distance to a valid Verizon location.
