What you’ll be doing...

This position involves customer facing collections activities, billing dispute interpretation and negotiation with a domestic and international customer base. Responsible for account aging reduction and tracking customer balances for a set customer base of large wholesale customers with approximately $2M in total Accounts Receivable. This position conducts moderately complex customer billing analysis and activities by utilizing collection strategies, providing essential customer services for our wholesale customers and providing explanations of resolved claims for wholesale customers. Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

  • Providing excellent customer service to wholesales customers
  • Following collections strategies for wholesale revenue and within contractual terms
  • Serving as a point of contact for customer inquiries and work with internal sales/support, tax, contracts and legal teams to ensure the timely resolution of outstanding issues
  • Interpreting and communicating wholesale billing claims resolutions to the customers
  • Supporting project initiatives and recommending process enhancements and efficiencies.
  • Meeting or exceeding individual and departmental collections targets

You are a well-organized, detail oriented person who enjoys managing work efficiently to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You’ll have strong analytical and problem solving skills, but you’ll also have a customer service orientation and be a great communicator who can interact well with a diverse range of people.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Willingness to travel upto approximately 25% of the time.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline.
  • Commercial collections and/or customer service experience.
  • Ability to work independently or with a team.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Organized and detail oriented with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Experience working in a collection support call center.
  • Created complex queries and reporting tools.
  • Experience working with financial, accounting and collection support systems.
  • Experience of electronic customer self-serve support applications.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products & Google Products
  • Negotiation skills.
