What you’ll be doing...

This position will provide you with an opportunity to channel personal drive, enthusiasm and creativity while collaborating and learning from the best minds in the industry. You’ll be front and center, hands-on and contributing your innovative ideas to high-impact projects from the moment you arrive and will be part of work and real-life projects within the Network Planning Organization. In this role, you’ll be:

  • Leading projects and providing smart solutions for ongoing initiatives.
  • Creating and supporting a productive and innovative team including partnering with peers, managers, senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Gaining knowledge of daily business operations by working closely with engineering professionals.

Key areas of engagement:

  • Critical thinking, problem solving, general engineering & best practices.
  • Network planning, design and architecture.
  • Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Software Defined Networks (SDN).
  • Network Function Virtualization (NFV).
  • Software and application development using Python and related technologies
  • Requirements development.
  • Vendor management and roadmap development.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one of more years of work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering /Computer Science or Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Familiarity with any of these:computer/IP, networking, programming in Java, Python, JavaScript, C++, SQL.
  • Knowledge of Networking fundamentals.
  • Experience with Ansible, Openstack, Call processing and Session Initiation Protocol (SIP).
  • Proficiency with Visio & MS Office Suite of Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical, communication, leadership and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-moving, team environment.
