Your role will be to work on meaningful business development and post close transitional activities to (1) acquire the assets or equity of operating wireless companies to supplement our 4G LTE footprint, and (2) acquire the interests of our equity partners in dozens of markets large and small. Transactions like these help cement our position as the wireless market leader. Working with internal teams from sales to legal, network, regulatory, finance and IT, you’ll anticipate critical gaps and future needs and make the right business and technology connections to offer the best integrated solutions. Ultimately, you will create better ways for people and businesses to stay connected.

The Project Manager of Business Development Acquisitions will be responsible for:

  • Support the processes in the group and advance the team’s goals to; acquire the assets or equity of operating wireless companies, acquire the interests of our equity partners in dozens of markets large and small and support the transition of acquired assets post close.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to administer network and other transitional services on time and within budget.
  • Work multiple internal and external stakeholder groups and different level of stakeholder groups (e.g. Director Level) and manage their various and changing stakeholder demands, requirements and intersections (e.g. Finance, Network, Regional Groups.).
  • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Manage and monitor concurrent projects and anticipate risk.
  • Support other analysis and activities as needed.
  • Collaborate with other managers within Business Development on projects including financial analysis, transaction due diligence, regulatory research, etc.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Project management experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Experience within the wireless industry.
  • Wireless network and spectrum knowledge.
  • PMP certification.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem solving, project management, presentation, critical thinking and multi-tasking skills.
  • High level of expertise with PowerPoint, Word and database management tools.
  • Experience in leading cross functional teams and managing large-scale complex projects.
  • Proven track record to meet deadlines and to work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
