What you’ll be doing...

You will help drive operational excellence across our network organization by ensuring that the appropriate network parts are in the right place at the right time. Leveraging analytics to optimize processes and procedures will create additional value for our company – and you will lead these efforts. You will manage multiple projects related to the health and maintenance of the Verizon network, establish and modify processes, and implement operating and governance frameworks to make our business better.

  • Collaborating with regional teams to understand their deployment and current processes.
  • Working with the network management centers (NMCs) to improve their current process and add value for them.
  • Developing systems consolidation and modernization plans and leading teams to deliver these plans.
  • Supporting future strategic network maintenance projects.
  • Organizing and prioritizing competing projects to ensure strategic delivery of results.
  • Leading Agile teams to deliver resources and processes to the organization.
  • Performing data analytics to identify trends and link back to process and system root causes.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in network operations or engineering.
  • Experience with IT development and project management.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Leadership, or Management.
  • Experience with Verizon's inventory, alarming, and ticketing systems.
  • Experience in the agile delivery process.
  • Experience with process automation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Verizon's networks and the systems used to maintain them.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong data analysis abilities.
