What you’ll be doing...

This position is responsible for leading a billing team of union associates. The individual is responsible for designing, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, as well as streamlining effective billing processes across multiple markets. This position is highly visible and requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan, and direct the department.

·Oversee and streamline billing processes

·Able to identify root cause of the problems and be able to work with other departments to come up with effective solutions to eliminate further occurrence of the same issues.

·Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes

·Personnel development; staff meetings and team building

·Handle Executive escalations

·Excellent written and verbal communications skills with both internal and external customers

·Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

·Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

·Leading, motivating, and developing a customer care team to deliver exceptional service

·Maintaining the highest quality of service by monitoring employee-customer interactions and coaching the team on how to improve.

·Applying policies, procedures, and guidelines appropriately and setting the example for communication skills, work ethic, and judgment.

What we’re looking for...

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Supervisory experience of 10 or more employees.
  • Customer service or call center experience, ideally with technical products or services.
  • Billing and research experience
  • Led a team, preferably in customer service or a call center environment.
  • Experience in coordinating, scheduling, and project tracking.
  • Understanding Tariffs
  • Experience with employee evaluations and workload distribution.
  • Knowledge of ICRIS, OPTIX, NSOP, One View, Payment Hub, Contract Viewer
  • Strong in Excel and Word
  • Experience performing account reconciliations.
  • Experience with billing systems
