What you’ll be doing...

As a Technical Lead for usage processing system you will lead large and complex business initiatives and delivering best in class customer experience. You will interact with various teams within IT and business partners to deliver the projects. You will guide IT team members for timely delivery of prioritized business functionality incorporating high quality.

  • Analyze architecture, relationship between systems, and systems flow of end-to-end designs.
  • Assess system usage trends and identify potential performance constraints with inter-system designs.
  • Design systems & applications that deliver business functions or architectural components.
  • Develop system architecture that improve designs & mapping form to function.
  • Performance tuning of critical applications.
  • Support integration testing, end-to-end system testing and UAT.
  • Collaborate with interfacing teams and take action to resolve the defects.
  • Support production rollout of the enhancements with validation and post production issue resolution for enterprise release and maintenance releases.
  • Adopt Agile, Dev ops and other enablers to improve effectiveness of project delivery.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or four or more years of work experience
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience
  • Six or more years of software development experience
  • Experience working on Unix/Linux Operating System with Shell scripting
  • Experience working on C/C++
  • Experience with Java J2EE technologies
  • Experience working in databases

Even better if you have

  • A degree.
  • Experience with CSG Intermediate software.
  • Knowledge of DB2, JCL, COBOL.
  • Knowledge or working experience with NoSQL Databases (Cassandra, Mongo etc.)
  • Certification or working experience on AWS.
  • Programming experience in one or more of the following: Java, Python, JavaScript, NodeJS.
  • Working experience in a production environment.
  • Experience in Agile methodology.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple products across the organization
  • Analytical and Problem solving skills to develop quick yet sound solutions to resolve complex issues
  • Excellent communication skills, Teamwork & collaboration skills to work across cross-functional teams
