What you’ll be doing...

Responsible for automation and monitoring of production application performance, including operational stability of the production applications. Collaborate with internal and external customers, offshore teams and development teams to provide solutions to production issues and fallouts using an in-depth understanding of software analysis and development, including gathering client requirements, testing and deployment. Monitor production environments to ensure system availability and fix existing monitoring gaps. Provide Level 1 and Level 2 information technology support, including monitoring production system health, and creating automated processes to improve operational efficiencies. Research and determine solutions for incoming issues. Work on automation, scripting. Create Java tools/portals and reports to resolve system issues and fallouts. Develop job aids, run books, auto reprocessing scripts, tools, and web portals as required. Work with tools to fix existing monitoring gaps and implement solutions for better, proactive monitoring and develop tools to perform health checks on regular basis. Serve as point of contact for external client teams and internal business teams and timely respond to system issues and escalations. Determine and document root cause of issues through partnership with the development team. Work on Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) product configuration, which includes billing, invoicing, account receivables, payment, general ledger and collection. Operate in an Agile/scrum environment and apply knowledge of the full software lifecycle, including functional requirement gathering, design and development, testing of software applications and documenting requirements and technical specifications. Design and develop using Java, J2EE, JavaScript, SVN, HTML, Spring MVC, Struts, jQuery, XML, XSLT, XPath, REST Web Services, Core Java, web portal development, unit testing and deployment.

What we’re looking for...

Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer and Information Systems, or Information Technology followed by 5 years of progressive experience in software analysis and development, including gathering client requirements, testing and deployment. Experience therein to include 3 years of experience in design and development using Java, J2EE, JavaScript, SVN, HTML, Spring MVC, Struts, jQuery, XML, XSLT, XPath, REST Web Services, Core Java, web portal development, unit testing and deployment. 3 years of experience providing Level 1 or Level 2 information technology support, including monitoring production system health and creating automated processes to improve operational efficiencies. Experience therein to include 2 years of experience working on BRM product configuration, including billing, invoicing, account receivables, payment, general ledger and collection.
