As a Client Partner you will play a lead role within our Acquisition Sales Team identifying, qualifying, creating and closing high value new logo sales opportunities. You will bring to the role solid experience selling complex and integrated IT solutions with the accent on consultative selling, and have the capability to pinpoint and influence key decision makers. TheClient Partner is critical position to Verizon growing our business and expanding our footprint within our target customers.

As a Client Partner you will:

  • Understand and evaluate industry, business and customer trends to build strategic plans that drive sales.
  • Develop deep relationships with prospects in order to get to know their businesses, markets, and the challenges they face.
  • Craft, position and pitch creative solutions to help customers understand how Verizon's solutions can enhance their business.
  • Create winning outcomes for both Verizon and our customers.
  • Articulate and demonstrate the value of Verizon solutions to our customers.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline that will enable you to achieve / exceed sales quotas

What we’re looking for...

You enjoy digging deep to really understand the customer’s vision along with their unique situation and challenges. You like putting things together in new and creative ways to best solve the customer’s most pressing needs. You look for win-win solutions wherever you can and enjoy collaborating with others. You’re not afraid of analytics and like to talk hard data.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in account development and leadership.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Sold network and data center solutions like cloud computing, security and call center solutions, and CPE offerings.
  • The drive to meet or exceed challenging sales targets.
  • Developed large multinational and Fortune 500 account relationships.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively position new ideas.
  • Persuaded and negotiated to create desired outcomes.
  • Balanced multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Solid understanding of technology sales in the context of advanced networking, unified communications and security.
  • Understand how big data, AI and virtualised infrastructures can change customers business models
  • Developed large multinational and Fortune 500 account relationships.
  • Experience balancing multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Be accustomed to build good internal working relationships in a complex matrix environment.
