What you’ll be doing...

  • Serve as scrum master for new product development.
  • Manage cross-functional project teams utilizing project management processes. Establish and monitor master project plans, acquisition and coordination of resources (people or systems, internal or external).
  • Manage the release plan and feature prioritization with the product team.
  • Conduct daily stand-ups for teams located in the US West Coast as well as East Coast.
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboard to reflect project performance.
  • Report project status to Verizon executives and vendors involved in the projects.
  • Work with cross function teams of Product Management, Network, Security and Legal teams to drive project progress and ensure compliance with Verizon standards.
  • Responsible for vendor management, including liaison to sourcing and legal teams.
  • Responsible for providing business operational support and for internal business projects and programs from inception through completion.
  • Exercises considerable judgment in developing methods, techniques & evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Project Management relevant fields of study.
  • Seven or more years of experience in Engineering and Program/Project Management Area.
  • Experienced in agile product and code development methodologies.
  • Advanced proficiency with Atlassian tools (Scrum Boards, Dashboards, etc): Jira, Confluence, Stash, etc.
  • Experience working with the following technologies and tools: IOT devices and Connectivity, DevOps, Cloud, Data Management, Splunk or other Admin Portal, MicroServices.
  • Ability to resolve complex problems positively and professionally.
  • Ability to establish plans, monitor and report on program status, budgets, schedules, etc.
  • Ability to clearly and regularly communicate status, issues and risks to stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify, develop and quantify any required corrective action plans.
  • Ability to work accurately under time pressures; and ability to work independently with minimal supervision in an environment with frequently changing business needs.
  • Exercises considerable judgment in developing methods, techniques & evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Strong track record of achieving or exceeding targeted results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Experience in creating presentation materials for executive review.
