What you’ll be doing...

The primary goal of this position is to be a technical leader in the support of the Managed Services Infrastructure. You’ll oversee lifecycle aspects of multiple service environments, acting as the owner for those systems (which number in the thousands). You’ll also understand and manage the interrelationships between the various products and the infrastructure systems.   • Collaborative role leading Infrastructure Architecture and Design for WAN/LAN/Security elements.
  • Maintaining capacity and availability for multiple service environments.
  • Ensuring our compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Managing network routing, switching, security and access control in an architecture and operational role.
  • Managing equipment licensing and overseeing vendors.
  • Delegating work to senior and junior network engineers and security engineers.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six years relevant work experience.
  • Relevant work experience with security platforms, networking elements and compliance programs.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a government issued security clearance.
  • Experience with converged/integrated security and network systems, including requisite compliance knowledge.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Networking, CyberSecurity or engineering.
  • Professional or Expert level certification in networking and/or security.
  • Demonstrated capability to successfully create and manage programs for infrastructure lifecycle processes such as design, capacity, availability, configuration management, operations and access management.
  • Thorough understanding of interdependencies and protocols across compute, network, and security technologies.
  • Prior work experience with security platforms preferred:
  • Advanced knowledge with Checkpoint, Fortinet and Cisco security architectures.
  • Advanced Experience with configuration, deployment, and administration of cisco routers and switches.
  • Advanced Experience with configuration, deployment, and administration of Checkpoint and Fortinet firewalls.
  • Experience planning and implementing enterprise networking and security solutions using Checkpoint and Fortinet firewalls with Cisco networking routers and switches.
  • Intermediate working knowledge network and security managed services and management systems.
  • Experience with compute virtualization systems. Ideally, VMware or vSphere.
  • Knowledge and experience with ITIL including practical application of ITIL processes. Ideally, with ITIL v3 Foundation Level certification or higher.
  • Experience with OpenStack based cloud computing infrastructures.
