What you’ll be doing...

Will manage the design and implementation of consumer wireless pricing. This role will partner with pricing strategy to design, develop, implement and maintain various pricing initiatives used to differentiate ourselves from the competition. The ideal candidate must be a strategic thinker, have strong knowledge of VZ systems, strong project management skills and a desire to be involved with highly visible new pricing ideas from concept to execution. An existing position is being backfilled.

Lead implementation of pricing launch initiatives to support senior leadership's revenue goals and metrics. Perform market research, forecast business opportunities, provide input to business cases, and perform project management activities in a highly fast paced and demanding environment. Deliver value to Verizon to increase wireless service revenue and increase Net adds

Responsibilities include:

Review business requirements as they relate to new pricing initiatives to ensure accurate build and execution. Champion new pricing ideas and determine high level feasibility. Partner with Pricing Strategy team to understand marketing research why it was optimal for our customers. Understand the business case for proposed pricing and how it impacts Verizon Evaluate opportunities to enhance current programs, as well as, create new opportunities for pricing differentiation. Key metric reporting including business case post mortems

Lead and Collaborate with large cross functional teams to understand pricing capabilities and constraints related to all channels of the business. Act as pricing subject matter expert for all communications both to the areas and cross-functional teams. Manage key milestones and deliverables to ensure on time implementation and post-launch issue resolution.

Effectively lead all projects through the VZLaunch process to operationalize new pricing, bundles and promotions. Collaborate with Go To Market team on all aspects of training, launch elements, internal, external and field communications.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Marketing operations experience.

Even better if you have:

  • An advanced degree.
  • Experience with writing marketing and technical requirements
  • Strong project management skills
  • Individual must be well organized, professional and extremely detail oriented
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have excellent PowerPoint, project and excel skills
  • Ability to work independently, including ability to take charge and lead
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of current and legacy price plans, reference data builds, VZW systems, VLSS, JIRA, developing user stories and Agile, are pluses
