What you’ll be doing...

The Verizon Experience Team is a new internal group tasked with evolving the Verizon customer experience across all channels and touchpoints through the design and implementation of innovative products and services that customers love.

An Experience Manager is a Product Manager who balances Business, Technology, and Design priorities to deliver brand-defining service experiences. One in three Americans use Verizon, so your work with have meaningful impact at massive scale.

As the Retail Experience Manager with focus on 3D, you will build new retail experiences, manage internal clients, provide strategic counsel, and prototype new retail display and fixture concepts. You will be responsible for the delivery process, from identifying customer needs, to defining the experiences, to ensuring successful launch and ongoing enhancements. You will play a key role in the evolution of our retail display design and integration of new design principles into our fleet of stores.

  • Define and socialize experience value propositions based upon customer insights, behavioral data, and business needs to establish and grow Verizon’s retail experience.
  • Align with cross-functional leadership to leverage key learnings and synergies in other areas of the business that could enhance the overall value proposition.
  • Serve as initial point of contact for internal client projects, recommend and advise on options and capabilities utilizing marketing best practices.
  • Provide direction and guidance, and translate business requirements and customer insights for designers, IT, operations, and other key stakeholders.
  • Concept development including fixture prototyping.
  • Review and evaluate pricing and value engineering of retail design programs and display initiatives.
  • Lead coordination of store design and fixture design in partnership with the internal client, real estate, visual merchandising, and operations.
  • Maintain the “big picture” for projects and client requirements ensuring that related deliverables are treated appropriately.
  • Provide strategic counsel and act as "trusted advisor" to internal clients and partners.
  • Manage stakeholder alignment and end-to-end business priorities.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have:

  • Retail and/or marketing experience in developing and executing 3D Retail Design programs.
  • Experience developing and launching experience programs and/or partnership based programs.
  • Experience managing, briefing, and getting exceptional work from an Agency team.
  • Ability to manage projects and build consensus across multiple teams/ stakeholders.
  • Ability to deliver in a fast-spaced and dynamic business environment and to work independently.
  • Experience managing concurrent projects in a fast-based, results-driven environment.
  • Effective high-level strategic planning and tactical daily execution abilities.
