What you’ll be doing...

It's a critical role to the success of the Optimization and Personalization team in Digital Ops. We're responsible for all Digital Ops performance optimization and personalization tests. In addition, this team is also the execution arm of all promo and merchandising go-to-market efforts at Verizon Wireless, as well as delivering personalized experiences for national consumer facing marketing programs.

The role will focus flawless execution of targeted and optimization tests for experiences on the site. To be effective, this position requires an individual who can leverage technology, data and content to deliver results. This role will work within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment to gain customer insights and drive results. To be successful, this individual will partner with various teams within Verizon Wireless and digital operations to identify opportunities that widen our position in the marketplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Design the data driven testing plan.
  • Develop testing specifications and requirements.
  • Guide a cross discipline execution team across the organization throughout the implementation phase.
  • Review testing results to determine next steps: further testing or an adoption recommendation with impact projection.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with SMEs in experience performance strategy and planning, optimization, personalization and merchandising to ensure the teams collectively deliver ONE premium customer experience across business initiatives and execution projects.
  • Act as end-user advocate and ensure balanced decisions are made.
  • Maintain knowledge of technical capabilities to leverage tools.
  • Meet measurable goals: velocity and on time delivery of projects and strategy deliverables.
  • Project plan, health and progress reporting.
  • Identify initiative roadblocks and escalate as needed.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Experience in online, digital, e-Commerce.
  • Experience in optimization, merchandising and personalization work.
  • Experience with partner organizations collaboration, relationship management.
  • Experience with Adobe Target or another A/B or automated-testing tool.
  • Clear and effective verbal, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in Marketing and User Experience for performance.
  • Experience of delivering results on time and ahead of goal.
  • Experiencein creating and executing effective programs to grow sales, traffic and/or engagement.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
