As our Senior Program Manager you will support a rapidly growing business sales partnership between Verizon Enterprise Solution and a handful key Fortune 500 business partners. You will specifically partner with Sales, Executive Leadership, Sales Operations, Strategic customer Engagement, Marketing, Custom pricing Operations, legal, Accounting, and Finance to drive deal velocity, scalability and visibility through specific deal management life cycle.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, identify resource needs, and manage project schedule; collaborate effectively across teams to define strategy, goals and commitment to timelines and deliverables.
  • Lead the definition, design and roll out of a new program or key new features.
  • Identify program goals and strategic initiatives at given timeframes.
  • Be the project lead to a product/tech team/business partner for the program and within the team.
  • Create stakeholder facing metrics, weekly executive summary and reporting.
  • Understand and discuss technical concepts, software services and manage tradeoffs.
  • Coordinate and manage acceptance testing including creation of test cases.
  • Oversee comprehensive testing of systems changes and development of standard operating procedures and process documentation.
  • Identify, assess, track and mitigate risks at multiple levels.
  • Partner with colleagues to develop processes and systems that are scalable.
  • Organization goals and metrics definition, tracking and reporting – are we doing what we said we would be doing? How are we doing?
  • Organize business reviews and planning activities to drive business assessment and specific outcomes.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience managing cross functional programs.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Five or more years of experience managing large scale, cross functional complex programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs.
  • Attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Capability to communicate verbally and written with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior leaders, across functions including the capability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
  • Experience developing teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
  • Track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to solve difficult and complex problems.
  • Excellent skills with MS PowerPoint and Excel tables.
  • Extensive hands-on experience working across multiple disciplines, presenting findings to an executive audience and publishing findings in written format.
  • Results-oriented ability with a delivery focus.
  • Handled multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • The ability to think outside the box; passionate about your work, self-motivated, detail oriented and have excellent problem solving skills.
