What you’ll be doing...

This key position is a critical component to our operational success. Utilizing your drive and motivation, you will expand your experience and develop subject matter expertise in a variety of areas. You will be responsible for managing the development of high-profile initiatives across our business. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing 3rd party Pole Attachments and Conduit Application requests.

  • Joint Use Liaison between Power Companies & Verizon Engineering

  • Permitting and ROW issues.

  • Quickly identify and communicate system issues impacting production environments.

  • Manage Executive level escalations.

People count on you for your ability to build relationships at all levels and communicate clearly to business and technical audiences alike. You’re driven to resolve problems and overcome hurdles, and you approach every situation with a can-do, team-player attitude.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degreeor four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Four or more years of telecommunications experience.
  • Experience with engineering systems like vSAP, CCP, ICGS, LFACS, PRS, vLicense, vBuild, iVapp, and FIM.
  • Experience with Risk Management, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Certificates of Insurance.
  • One or more years of experience reading plats and other facility documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
  • Planning and organization skills in a dynamicwork environment.
  • Leadership skills in prior roles.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to act independently with a sense of urgency and appropriately escalate issues as required.
  • Ability to work in a cross functional capacity between various internal and external organizations.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects with varying priorities.
