What you’ll be doing...

As a Human Resources Sr. Analyst, you will be supporting the VerizonConsumer Group HR Business Partner team. You will provide operational and analytical support on routine and ad-hoc projects and initiatives to drive the team’s priorities and meet the needs of our stakeholders.

  • Collaborating on cross-functional teams to drive planning, monitoring and execution of various projects and initiatives supported by the team
  • Assist in planning, project management, and read-outs of key initiatives, special projects, programs, and events
  • Collaborating across HR and cross-functional teams to identify and aggregate relevant content to drive progress on key initiatives
  • Synthesizing cross functional data, examining and identifying key trends, and presenting relevant findings in clear, succinct reports and presentations
  • Providing routine and ad-hoc reporting support to track and evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of HR processes in driving organizational priorities
  • Creating executive presentations and decks for operation’s reviews and key programs
  • Conducting external and internal research, leveraging industry trends and best practices to support internal priorities and benchmarking efforts

Providing reporting and analysis for key HR initiatives such as performance management and budgeting

What we’re looking for...

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • HR background and experience with data analytics
  • 2-3 years of project management experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in reporting and data analysis
  • Ability to work effectively under tight time constraints and deliver accurate results
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision and effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent critical thinking and decisionmaking skills
  • Must be organized and detail oriented
  • High professional standards for customer service, confidentiality, and quality of work
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate data-based information effectively and concisely with stakeholders and leaders
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Office applications
  • Prior experience with COGNOS or knowledge of PeopleSoft preferred
