What you’ll be doing...

The Senior Order Provisioning Engineer provides ongoing service ordering support for all access services, IPCC, IPIA, and IP or Switched Toll Free products.

Overall responsibility for all engineering support for the TFCC contract.

  • Provides access engineering.
  • Responsible for tracking all access orders and for escalations to meet critical due dates
  • Provides service ordering recommendations and comprehensive project management support for any and all site expansions, relocations and new site implementation through the life of the contract.
  • Responsible for voice circuit design (e.g. ISDN features, DNIS, hunting) at all TFCC facilities.
  • Manages and tracks all bulk order entry projects to SOCN delivery (such as the 20,000 new toll free numbers for eEFAX).
  • Supports any NUCC Portal Training on the ordering process.
  • Assists and backups the Operations Service Manager for any customer questions or issues.
  • Can backup the Service IP Support Manager Responsibilities:
    • CompletingTFN updates and changes to their IP Toll Free Network, enterprise routing support which includes Creating and Updating IP terms and Routing Plans for existing and new product lines. Create alternate routing plans and deploy them if needed. Assist with executing new and/or upgrades of IPTF service.
    • Supporting all custom IRS TFCC support over and above the Networx Universal requirement to include SLA reporting, unique billing requirements and custom reporting.
    • Proactively monitors the account and keeps in constant communication with the IRS to ensure all expectations are met.
    • Research Toll Free trouble Inquiries and coordinates troubleshooting.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Experience with telecommunications equipment installation activities.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a government issued security clearance or active security clearance.
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience in supporting large, coordinated project and program activities.
  • Customer facing experience with Federal customers.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to be extremely organized, detail-oriented and work well independently while multitasking in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to apply critical and strategic thinking.
  • Expertise with MS Office suite including MS Project.
  • Strong interpersonal skills as a team player.
