What you’ll be doing...

The Project Manager, Technology, is responsible for mapping projects into work streams, with dependencies and milestones typically captured in a project plan, working independently with all stakeholders to capture and link activities. Integral to the planning process, the PM will guide the team to structure the project according to a rapid prototyping flow (problem statement ingestion, technical concept, design, construction, hypothesis validation, and deliverables).

At every stage of the project the Project Manager will play an active role in the development process as moderator, helping broker solutions and compromises between technical stakeholders by bringing to the table the overall project perspective and priorities. The Project Manager will establish a close collaboration with team stakeholders to capture project status and update project plans. The Project Manager will summarize status for an executive audience.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and project tracking for 5G and MEC based proof of concepts for various verticals as identified by business. Implementation and tracking of development processes. Creating and fostering a framework for project accountability and ownership. Team coordination to achieve project requirements in terms of timeline, budget and reporting. Reporting status upstream. Day-to-day budget management and relationship with sourcing and finance organizations.
  • Proven track record with planning skills for complex SW projects, risk management, time management and negotiation skills. You must have demonstrable experience managing fast paced software projects using Agile development paradigms and tools. Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills (up to Executive level). Skilled leader and moderator for cross-functional working meetings. Comfortable with regular interaction cadence with team members to manage task assignments, with PM peers to consolidate reports, with team Director for strategic direction and deliverable review.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

    Even better if you have:

  • 7+ years relevant experience.
  • Technical degree.
  • Software Project Management.
  • Technical degree, Software Engineering background preferred.
  • Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or equivalent certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Outstanding meeting moderator.
  • Proficient at transposing project plans into Gantt charts, leveling resources and identifying critical dependencies.
  • Deft at crafting concise project summaries for an executive audience.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Tools: JIRA, Confluence, MS Office / GSuite, MSProject / SmartSheets.
