What you’ll be doing...

In this position, you will supervise13-15 employees supporting Garage Work Centers in VA. You will be responsible for GWC operations that include, but not limited to, ordering, expediting, staging, receipting, returning, transferring, packaging, labeling and overall inventory management of material for technicians working in the field.

Responsibilities also include:

  • Managing field escalations as well as oversight of contracted vendor responsible for vendor managed inventory.
  • Interfacing with partnering organizations (i.e. Operations, Engineering, Compliance, etc.) as well as Human Resources and Labor Relations on HR / union related issues.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Operations and/or Supply Chain Management.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Experience with Microsoft Work, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
  • A valid driver's license.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Five or more years of experience in Operations and/or Supply Chain Management.
  • Ability to solve both strategic and tactical challenges on a daily basis.
  • Excellent communication skills.
