What you’ll be doing...

In 2018, Visible was launched as a revolutionary communications and connectivity product to provide savvy consumers with a boldly flexible and functional wireless service. That means no contracts, no stores, no device payment plans – all built on the strength of the Verizon network. An innovative product offering like ours demands an equally innovative marketing and media strategy, and we’re looking for the Manager to lead that effort as we build Visible into a national presence in 2019.

As a member of this exciting team, this Manager will be responsible for shaping the media strategy and driving the activation of key brand initiatives for a brand that focuses on younger audiences and emerging communications channels.Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead strategy development for large scale brand and demand-driving initiatives.
  • Act as the cross-team leader, integrating all aspects of media to define and execute campaigns (Social, Media Analytics, Sponsorship, etc.).
  • Collaborate with Visible product, events and creative teams to deliver across key projects.
  • Lead media agency relationships, provide clear briefing and direction.
  • Manage cross-team delivery of campaign reporting, insights and optimization
  • Identify and implement innovation and thought leadership within campaigns and across the Media Team.
  • Support budget management including reconciliation and invoice approval.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience
  • Client or Media Agency experience within a brand awareness and direct response capacity.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Four or more years of brand marketing/media experience, with a focus on strategy, both
  • Consumer and start-up marketing experience.
  • Experience in developing data driven media strategies.
  • Experience collaborating with creative teams for joint, idea led media plans.
  • Experience collaborating and leading, among many different teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand business strategies and correlate business outcomes to media actions.
  • Passion for driving results and innovating along the way.
  • Ability to manage through ambiguity and balance multiple dynamic priorities.
  • Influential storytelling skills, verbally and written.
  • Communication and partnership skills.
  • Analytical rigor.
  • Affective project management and execution skills.
