What you’ll be doing...

  • Support internal and external DNS environments which support 2+ billion DNS queries per day.
  • Support internal DHCP environments providing IP addressing to 100K+ internal systems.
  • Create ad-hoc reports pulling data from multiple data points.
  • Support the internal RADIUS environment which provides multi-factor authentication for applications including VPN, WiFi, TACACS.
  • Support the internal TACACS environment providing secure access to internal network devices.
  • Plan, implement and support the NTP environment providing consistent time source to hundreds of thousands of internal and external devices.
  • Help to manage and maintain an infrastructure consisting of hundreds of applications running various operating systems from different vendors supporting multiple different network services.
  • Create automation and tools to monitor and prevent issues.
  • Create ad-hoc reporting for any/all services supported.
  • Work with network support groups, help desk, command center and end clients to troubleshoot issues.
  • Participate in group calls, and manage project calls.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Three or more years of experience scripting and programming for reporting and building automation tools.
  • Ability to work with various operating systems including but not limited to RedHat, CentOS.
  • Experience supporting DNS/DHCP, Proxy PAC, NTP, TACACS and RADIUS infrastructures for an Enterprise level company.
  • Five or more years of knowledge and experience with DNS/DHCP functionality, BIND, IP networking (IPv4 and IPv6), IP NAT, routing protocols, firewalls, proxy communication, registered and compromised IPs.
  • Ability to support PAC files.
  • Three or more years of knowledge and understanding of NTP.
  • Three or more years of knowledge of TACACS and RADIUS, and understanding of multi-factor authentication, and active directory.
  • Ability to create complex authentication rules using differing identity sources.
  • Ability to work with and support related vendor applications.
  • Knowledge of and ability to create/script and support tools and new automation using RedHat and CentOS operating systems.
  • Ability to support and maintain websites.
  • Ability to manage multi-organizational projects.
  • High motivation, self-starter approach, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively under tight time constraints and deliver accurate results.
  • Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to communicate and manage priorities effectively to meet deliverables.
