A key business unit in Australia is our Government Security Operations Centre (GSOC) that operates out of Canberra. Currently we are seeking a Service Desk Analyst to support our government clients. The Service Desk Analyst role is a specialized role within the Service Desk group working with internal stakeholders, external parties and customers to manage BAU operations of the Service Desk,

This opportunity offers a great platform for growth as you can progress to our Tier 1 and subsequently Tier 2 Network Security Support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to calls from internal and external clients.
  • Logging Incidents and Requests that come to the service desk via email, fax and phone within SLA
  • Improving efficiencies - job throughput, resolution times, service improvements and process improvements.
  • Improving client communication - changes, outages, emergencies.
  • Adhering and assisting in the creation and maintenance of Service Desk procedures.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Active NV1 security clearance.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Experience in an IT-related field – Help Desk, Desktop Support with a focus on IT Security.
  • Experience in Network Health Monitoring.
  • Good understanding of the technical, operational and procedural requirements in both Government and non-Government IT security guidelines.
  • Experience working in an ITIL environment and preferably be ITIL certified.
  • Certifications - ITIL V3 Foundations.
