What you’ll be doing...

Verizon’s consumer video product strategy is dynamically evolving based on marketplace dynamics, and an infusion of new technology and solutions for customers to fully realize the benefits/superiority of Verizon's core services, including 5G Home, Fios Broadband and Wireless data. Verizon's vision to create a rich and compelling video platform, comprised of both partner and internal content sources, is essential to maintaining industry leadership in home and mobile solutions. This role will support the development of services and devices designed to create differentiated experiences for our customers, as well as producing new revenue opportunities.

Verizon's Consumer Products team is seeking an experienced Product Advocate/Manager with program management experience to drive video solution market implementations. You will be responsible for managing the product delivery process of the program including the following responsibilities:

  • Identify and establish strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure program activities, status, and overall program success.
  • Maintain a focus on the customer and optimizing the product experience offered, while maintaining Verizon critical strategic imperatives and KPIs, in addition to overall program delivery timeline.
  • Establish a relevant and engaging product commercial model that delivers the key end-user value proposition, while reinforcing the strategic value and differentiation of Verizon’s core services.
  • Full definition of product requirements/user stories across Consumer business units, including Wireless and Wireline processes, systems, and channels. .
  • Manage or help/coordinate technical projects in a meticulous and disciplined fashion to track progress and to ensure goals are achieved. During project execution, provide technology oversight, direction and steering to maximize project output and technical resource efficiency.
  • Maintain full product life-cycle management post-implementation, ensuring the products remain competitive from a price, promotion, and channel perspective.
  • Define overall Video service roadmap, based on Verizon priorities/input from key, as well as the proposals and capabilities planned through external partners.
  • Develop and/or contribute to recurring senior leadership program reporting and status updates, clearly identifying program progress, critical product metrics, and any jeopardy/escalations required to maintain performance.

You have strong financial, analytical and modeling skills, as well as an aptitude for using data to inform decisions.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, computer science/engineering, finance/economics or creative fields or four or moreyears of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to tavel.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree in marketing, computer science/engineering, finance/economics or in a relatedfield.
  • Experience within Product Development or Marketing teams.
  • Program Management Certification.
  • Experience conducting and compiling consumer customer research.
  • Experience in video delivery, either traditional linear or OTT, or consumer technology.
  • Experience managing a P&L and evaluating return on investment for product and/or marketing initiatives.
  • Experience in negotiating and closing high impact business partnerships.
  • Substantial experience leading cross-functionally in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Strong financial, analytical and modeling skills.
