What you’ll be doing...

Verizon is seeking an incumbent with proven business and project management skills. The role is responsible for supporting large and complex projects from end to end with an emphasis on cost, quality, optimization, rationalization and technology.

The incumbent will be a co-lead responsible for Space Planning for all of Global Technology Solutions (GTS) nationwide. The incumbent will be a lead communicator to all of the GTS portfolios as well as to the cross-functional team members in Global Real Estate (GRE). In addition, the incumbent will play a key role in the GTS strategy over the next two to five plus years. Responsibilities will include working in a cross-functional team to support the GTS and GRE needs across Verizon, identifying the needs of the GTS portfolios as well as the GRE strategic plans for Verizon. Examples include coordinating and planning building consolidations, Activity Based Workspace (ABW) transformations and building closures.

The incumbent is responsible for the business intelligence and data analysis related to all space planning and real estate needs across GTS. Additional responsibilities will include accurate reporting on the related metrics and analytics for all GTS Space Planning initiatives. Mindfulness of project timelines and on time completion is imperative and awareness of budget issues impacting each project is essential. The incumbent must have the ability to work with aggressive timelines, work collaboratively and to diplomatically challenge the status quo to achieve the GTS and GRE targets.

Develop post-project reviews including analyzing successful strategies and process improvement opportunities.
